During drying, fluff develops and can collect in the drum and suds container. This can result in functional faults such as longer programme running times or triggering of the safety temperature limiter.
Run the Rinse out fluff programme regularly to prevent functional faults from occurring.
The “Rinse out fluff” programme must not be used for rinsing laundry. Ensure there are no items of laundry in the drum before starting the programme.
Proceed as follows to rinse out fluff:
Switch on the washer-dryer.
With the programme selector turned to the Further programmes position, select the Rinse out fluff programme.
Do not use detergent.
Press the Start/Stop button.
Any fluff will be rinsed away within a few minutes.
If necessary wipe any remaining fluff off the door sealing ring and door glass.
Switch the washer-dryer off.
