There is something covering one or more sensor controls in the area marked yellow, see figure. The hob switches off automatically.
If one or more sensor controls in the yellow area are covered, F appears above the On/Off sensor control. The sensor control(s) may get covered, e.g. due to finger contact, food boiling over or objects being placed on them.
If one or more sensor controls remain(s) covered for more than 10 s, the hob switches off. If this happens, the sensor controls stop responding.
Always keep the sensor controls and displays clean.
Do not place objects and/or hot cookware on any part of the electronic control module area, see the area marked yellow in the figure.
Remove the obstruction and/or the soiling.
The F goes out on the display and the hob can be used again normally.
The sensor controls start responding again.
