Miele Cooling & Freezing | No audible warning sounds even though the door of the refrigeration appliance has been open for a long time.

Not a fault. The alarm tone has been switched off in Settings mode.

To switch the alarm tone back on, proceed as follows:

Press the Menu/settings button.

All available symbols are shown in the display. The Door lock closed symbol flashes.

Press the sensors for setting the temperature (Up arrow or Down arrow) repeatedly until the Keypad tone symbol flashes in the display.

Press the OK sensor to confirm your choice.

The selected setting flashes in the display. The Keypad tone symbol lights up.

Press the Up arrow or Down arrow sensors to select the following settings:

Press the OK sensor to confirm your choice.

The selected setting is applied. The Keypad tone symbol flashes.

Press the Menu/settings sensor again to exit Settings mode.

Settings mode is exited automatically after approximately one minute.
