Clean the brew unit. Proceed as follows:

• Remove the brew unit from the coffee machine.

• Clean the brew unit by hand under warm running water without using cleaning agents.

• Wipe any coffee residues from the filters with your fingers.

• 

• One filter is located in the funnel. The other filter is to the left of the funnel, see figure.

• Dry the funnel to prevent ground coffee sticking to it the next time a coffee is made.

• Slide the brew unit back into the coffee machine.

Start the Degrease brew unit programme.

See the operating instructions for information on degreasing the brew unit.

Check the seal by running your fingers around it.

Clean the ground coffee chute as follows:

• Open the appliance door on the right-hand side of the coffee machine.

• Remove the ground coffee drawer.

• 

• Insert the vacuum cleaner attachment.

• Use the suction tube of your vacuum cleaner to vacuum out the ground coffee chute.

• Remove the vacuum cleaner attachment.

• Replace the ground coffee drawer.

• Close the coffee machine door.
