Door difficult to open/close
The coffee machine door is difficult to open and close or will not close at all.
The appliance door is not aligned properly.
Align the door of the coffee machine using the hinges:
To align the door flush with the cabinet front, turn the screw (1).
To align the door horizontally and vertically, turn the screw (2).
The seal on the connecting piece between the brew unit and the coffee/central spout is not greased and jams when the door is closed.
The connecting piece between the brew unit and the central spout is located on the inside of the appliance door.
Clean the connecting piece regularly with a damp cleaning cloth without wiping the grease off the sealing ring.
Grease the sealing ring regularly once a month with the silicone grease supplied in the coffee machine’s companion pack.
If necessary, you can order more silicone grease from Miele Customer Service or the Miele online shop.
