The coffee machine does not switch on when the On/Off switch Standby or On Off is pressed.
When the coffee machine is commissioned for the first time or if it has not been operated for a while, the electronic module may be in idle mode. This means that the electronic module will not respond when the On/Off switch is pressed briefly.
To take the electronic module out of idle mode and start the coffee machine, touch the On/Off switch Standby or On Off for approx. 10 seconds.
The power switch/main switch can be found at the bottom of the coffee machine on the left or right side, depending on the model.
Example illustration:
Set the power switch to I.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
The circuit breaker can be tripped by the coffee machine, the voltage supply or another faulty appliance.
Contact a qualified electrician or Miele Customer Service.
