No coffee from central spout

Clean the coffee pipework.

• You can also start the Rinse appliance function manually (depending on the model).

Is there still no coffee flowing out of the central spout or is it only dispensed via one side?

Dismantle the central spout and clean all parts carefully. Use the supplied cleaning brush for parts that are difficult to reach.

Clean the steam nozzle with the cleaning brush.

Make sure that all the individual parts of the central spout are assembled correctly.

Clean and degrease the brew unit as follows:

• Start the Degrease brew unit maintenance programme and follow the instructions on the display.

• Open the appliance door.

• 

• Press and hold the button at the bottom of the handle of the brew unit (1).

• Whilst doing so, turn the handle to the left (2).

• Carefully pull the brew unit out of the coffee machine.

• When you have removed the brew unit, do not change the position of the handle on the brew unit.

  Otherwise, the brew unit cannot be reinserted.

• The moving parts of the brew unit are lubricated.

  Cleaning agents will damage the brew unit.

  Clean the brew unit by hand under warm running water without using any washing-up liquid.

• 

• Wipe any coffee grounds off the filters (see arrows).

• Dry the funnel to prevent ground coffee sticking to it the next time a coffee is made.

• Clean the inside of the coffee machine.

• Use your vacuum cleaner to remove dry coffee residues from the coffee machine.

• 

• Drop a cleaning tablet into the top of the brew unit (arrow).

• Push the brew unit containing the cleaning tablet back into the coffee machine.

• 

• Press and hold the button at the bottom of the handle of the brew unit (1).

• Whilst doing so, turn the handle to the right (2).

• Close the appliance door.

• Follow the further instructions given on the display.

The cleaning process is finished at the end of the rinsing cycle. You can now make drinks again.
